Professional Background

I served as a police officer for 19 years, an experience that honed my leadership, resilience, and problem-solving abilities. Following an injury on duty, I transitioned into training new police recruits for three years, fostering my passion for teaching and mentorship. Additionally, I dedicated 16 years to roles within local government, gaining a comprehensive understanding of public sector operations and community engagement.

Throughout my full-time roles, I successfully established and managed businesses in the transport and property sectors. Balancing entrepreneurship with public service has provided me with firsthand experience in building and growing ventures alongside demanding careers.
